I've played Angband for many years, but never found any of the "ultimate weapon" artifacts: Ringil, Deathwreaker, Doomcaller, Feanor, Cubragol, The One Ring, or Bladeturner, so I went on an artifact hunt. Before defeating Morgoth I found Cubragol, then The One Ring. The others eluded me for over 2,500,000 turns. With the number of turns between finding artifacts regularly exceeding one hundred thousand, I decided to give up the hunt, and retire.
