I think the max fame you can get in total will let you reforge something around 170K power. There are artefacts that exceed that, so you won't ever be able to use those in reforging. Not sure if Doomcaller is one of those.

You still have quite a few dungeon guardians sitting around doing nothing, you could thwack those for some relatively easy fame boosts. You could probably even take Cthulu relatively safely now.

Anyways I ran across the unicorn and it didn't go very well so I just decided to abandon that until I'm done with the serpent since I don't wanna waste consumables right now. Got most of the super annoying uniques out of the way so I'll probably push for the final fights soon.

Oberon went down without any big problems (mainly due to passwall, thanks debo :D ). He also failed to summon any of his amberite buddies which is always a good sign.

I think the last unique I'll hunt for pre-serpent is azathoth and then I'll probably just go for it (most likely being waaaayyyy too careful but since my first poscheng char was a spider i have every right to be paranoid haha).

Is there any info on how exactly quick walk behaves? I can't seem to browse spells in the "U"-menu.

As a sidenote, Taminalbringer has a score of 161k, if I can get this thing forged on a Falcon Sword its going to be insane :D

New reforge was a definite success adding 5 extra speed and solid dps. I decided to try and fight the unicorn with an inventory full of drainable equipment and it somehow went a lot better than expected (mainly because it didn't really summon anything and was stuck in a straight line vault)
