To Andrew concerning [Un] bugs.

I have played UnAngband-062-gold2 for several days, and the game crashed on me at least three times. I am only able to remember what I was doing when the game crashed in only one of these instances, and I didn't make any dumps because it never came to me .

I was a High-Elf Ranger in a chain room in the sewers under Bree, and the game crashed while I was opening the chains. I believe I tried opening the same chain twice, and it crashed after the second time . I hope this was helpful.

Was that on Windows? Where you attacked by breathing monsters when the crash happened? Was any game progress lost? Could you attach to your post the savefile from the crash and the last backup savefile the game created when entering the current level?

We've picked up a lot of crash bugs which should be fixed in the next release which is 'real soon now'...

Having said that, your feedback is appreciated. Please email me the save files and I'll see if I can reproduce.

I also experienced a crash (my first time trying Unangband, unfortunately). In Farmer Maggot's cellar an offscreen monster breathed sound at me. I saw the game drawing the cone of sound and then it crashed. No savefile, I"m afraid.
