Strange drop at 150'

a) a Blade of Chaos (6d5) (+0,+0)
Dropped by an apprentice at 150 feet (level 3)

Provides resistance to Chaos.

Combat info:
1.0 blow/round.
With +10 STR and +0 DEX you would attack a bit faster
With +16 STR and +0 DEX you would get 1.1 blows
With +0 STR and +4 DEX you would attack a bit faster
With +10 STR and +4 DEX you would get 1.1 blows
With +0 STR and +7 DEX you would get 1.1 blows
Average damage/round: 19.2.

Mildly useful - but too heavy for my Nec hobbit longterm

Far more useful for @ was this:

b) a Sling of Power (x2) (+9,+15)
Dropped by a small kobold at 100 feet (level 2)

33 damage pebbles of power!

This came early enough to actually be worn as well:

c) a Ring of Intelligence <+1>
Found lying on the floor at 200 feet (level 4)

+1 intelligence.
Sustains intelligence.

Gotta get me some of that:

t) the Band of Ardgalad
Found lying on the floor at 550 feet (level 11)

Cannot be harmed by Lightning.
Aggravates creatures nearby.

Found this old thread with the appropriate title; my finds:

a) a Mace of Disruption of Lightning (5d8) (+10,+11)
Found lying on the floor in a vault at 1950 feet (level 39)

Slays undead.
Branded with lightning.
Provides resistance to Lightning.

Combat info:
4.0 blows/round.
Average damage/round: 507.6 vs undead and creatures not resistant
to lightning, and 275.6 vs. others.

It is rare to find branded great weapons and this one is excellent for being a MoD and having a good brand type. My priest recently managed to get all the stats to be able to wield it.

So imagine my surprise when I found this in the same game:

u) a Mace of Disruption of Lightning (5d8) (+10,+6)
Dropped by a nether wraith at 3000 feet (level 60)

Slays undead.
Branded with lightning.
Provides resistance to Lightning.

Combat info:
4.0 blows/round.
Average damage/round: 482 vs undead and creatures not resistant to
lightning, and 249.6 vs. others.
