There is in game support for dumping screenshots with the ')' command. Here's a (boring!) example using the 'f'orum option.

It was broken at one time, but was soon fixed. It's main problem is being largely forgotten.

I see it is less than functional for the variant you're playing. Vanilla screen dump has long been updated monster list and colors. Without those, it's less useful. |

Oh no the screen dump is in color, it's just that I set all my colors to monochrome gray. : )
