ZangbandTK in Ubuntu

Hey,

I have just a quick question. Is it possible to get the same quality of tk graphics for zangband in ubuntu linux, as it is in windows?

To be more exact, it possible to get this:

Instead of this:

Or this:

In ubuntu? I have been struggling with this for a long time, googling everything I could think of, playing around with all the options that come up when I do zangband -i in the terminal, examining the configuration files, the help files, etc. Maybe I'm just being dense, but I can live with that if I can fix this. Any help y'all can give would be most appreciated.

Does the link help? Yes and no. I've been using linux for about two years now, but I've never really had to compile anything. Oh, well. First time for everything. Are there any pointers I can get on compiling? For example, what compiler to use?

You know, the ascii graphics version isn't nearly so awkward as I'd thought it would be. Thanks for the help, but I think I'll stick with the text version, after all.
