4.1.3 Issues

ERROR or Feature?

Loaded the 4.1.3 last week, started to run and found that my UP stairs look like WALLS from out of LOS, and DOWN stairs look like UP stairs from outside LOS. Both maps seem to be the same. Also tried to create a new character and had the same issue.

Oh, and had the errors "Can not read file '64x64.png'" and "cannot initialize graphics", even though the file is in the directory F:\angband-win-4.1.3\angband-4.1.3\lib\tiles\shockbolt (or F:\angband-win-4.1.3\angband-4.1.3\lib\tiles\shockbolt).

Win 7 PRO, ADAM BOLTS TILES, 1x1, enhanced graphics (on or off does not matter).

(posted this in the 4.1.3 notification thread, but that is kind of large now)

Can confirm this - probably an error in the pref file, I'll have to check.

When do you see this error? if you're using Adam Bolt tiles, the game shouldn't be needing 64x64.png.

I'm not seeing that second error (on Win 10). Did Shockbolt graphics work fine when you first opened the game on downloading?

Shockbolt has not worked for some time now, at least a couple of years I think. At one time that font worked, but as the revisions progressed it worked more and more sporadically and now just throws those errors.
