Morgoth crash

My rogue is fighting Morgoth in the corner of the dungeon and whenever he hits me, it crashes my game with the following error:

Assertion failed!

Program: .... blahblah Angband.exe
File: cave.c
Line: 889

Expression: y < DUNGEON_HGT

My guess from the variable names is that it tries to earthquake off the map. The whole time I was on a glyph and he couldn't hit me nothing crashed. As soon as he started hitting me, this happens every time.

Is this a known issue? This is with the current production version of V 3.1.0, not the dailies.

Yeah, I filed it in the bugtracker and will take a look before 3.1.1.

Is there a workaround that I might employ? I can't win with this character and it's bugging me.

I can put her on hold for a bit if I need to.

I can't think of any workaround, no.

Oh, and BTW, what corner are you in now? Top right or bottom right?

Bottom left for both this rogue and my warrior, though it didn't crash with the warrior.

No I don't have it any more.

I have been using the nightly builds for the last couple months and have won twice so that issue hasn't re-surfaced.

OK. I've dug around a bit and I don't really see what triggered that error, so I guess it'll just stay open in the tracker until it crops up again. I'm sorry it ruined your previous game.
