Sil Tutorial -smithing request

I sometimes use the sil tutorial to check the item costs for smithing when planing my build. However the tutorial character does not have enough experience to pick up weapon-smithing (or jeweller etc.). It'd be great if the tut. character started with all smithing abilities or even better if forges allowed you to scan through items you can't build.

I know this is on the list of feature requests for Sil already, because I made it myself

Not sure if you know this already, but if you hit '0', you can actually 'explore' the forging menu without being at a forge. However, it still locks you out of things depending on your actual forging abilities.

For now, the alternative you can use is create a throwaway character, type 'ctrl-a' to enter wizard mode, type 'Gondolin' as the password, and then use Ctrl-x or ctrl-e (i can't remember which one) to give your character a bazillion experience. You can then go into smithing exploration mode to see what your options are.

Thanks. It was e at the debug prompt (brought up by Ctrl-a). Now I can just save that character as a smithing menu.

Noticed something odd whilst loading & saving this character. When you save it adds a turn to the game count, though nothing moves & no resources are used up. So if you hit start new character & then save & load 10 times you have a turn count of 10.
